10-2

We literally have not sniffed a 10 win season since Fulmer and people are acting like we are 3-4. Smh.

TN hasn't played a schedule this easy since Fulmer. Half the teams on the schedule couldn't even beat Vandy.

Weird.

Just saw on twitter we've played the second toughest schedule in the country so far.

Exactly.... during the pre-season we all said if we could go 2for 4 outta this stretch hopefully the 2 being Florida and Georgia we'd be ok with that... If you told me in July we'd do that without cam jrm Kirkland and others I'd have said no effing way

Correct me if I'm wrong but we opened with a 2 back set. (A lead blocker) and had some success. I don't think it was a Bama adjustment that shut that down.....we just stopped doing it.

Other teams are improving and Tennessee needs to work like heck to get 10 wins. Even Vandy making noise.

I totally agree with your post. That set used more could have been a game changer. I think kamara got hurt on the out of bounds hit, but why 5hey went away from that, I'll never know

I just saw Virginia Tech get blown out by Syracuse and Georgia get beat by Vandy. :hi:

And we still have played three other top 20 teams plus two group of five bowl teams

10-2 is what most of the level heads predicted at the beginning of the season.
Lord, this game would have still been a challenge even if we hadn't lost a good part of the defense and half the oline to injury.
2 more years of top 10 recruiting and we'll compete with the likes of Bama and embarrass TAM.

Jones should have gone for 2 against A&M when a good chance to win the game was right in front of him---a yard (or is it a yard and a half?) away, especially knowing a probable bama loss was in front of him. But as always with him, he chose to play it safe and we lost. And now we've lost again...

10-2 with hard fought losses would be awesome. But the team looked like it gave up out there it looked like the coaches had no intentions on winning this game

This is ridiculous. We are better than a&m. Better teams want to extend games. Lesser teams want it to come down to one play.

Uh, weren't we playing third string LBs on Defense.
4-2-5 hasn't worked against Bama by anyone this season.
We aren't to the place depth wise where injuries to major contributor's does't hurt. sounds like an excuse, but it's really the nature of the game.
2 more years of recruiting at a high level and the back ups will be much better quality.
10-2 would be a good season and a decent bowl.
