Players always look slow when they are unsure of what they are doing. They are thinking when they should naturally react. The result is you look slow and get beat. A step slow, no momentum for shedding blocks or tackling, etc. Give them a few games and they will look better.

I thought the same thing..First series on defense looked like the lineman and backers were thinking too much creating a slow response to what was going on..
A stat I could not believe was WV was 0 fer on 3rd downs in the 1st half..
I do believe we looked better and played more like a team even if we did get burnt some..
There was no give up from them in the game also..Played hard til the end...
We should look better this week...
