.....and look at how many FANS have already quit and given up on the season. And that's just on ONE message board.

I'm sure your Vols who were out there fighting to try and win the game really appreciate the support. They aren't quitting or writing off the season. They also aren't of the opinion that every loss falls on one person just like every win doesn't fall on one person.

Give up. Fulmer hasn't done anything special lately no matter how you slice it.

How long have you guys been fans? Just curious really? I know I have been putting up with the same old bs since 98...we are no longer relevant on a national level...i hate to break it to you...

Fulmer isn't the team.

You'd think that would be easy to fiure out for him wouldn't you? I haven't seen one post where someone said anything negative about a player other than Ainge (ludicris by the way) but that comes with the territory...

I know. We all have our own ways of relieving the frustrations.

and yours is coming up with separate threads about subjects already being addressed? I would call them inane, but Fine Vol has everybody beat when it comes to creating inane threads.

I appreciate your optimism, really I do. But don't say this was just "one game." In reality, there have been wayyyy too many "just one games" since 2001.

Many of us can remove the blinders and see the trend. Some are still lost in the trees and can't see the forest (the "its just one game crowd").

the players played hard. eric berry was laying some wood, very impressive for a freshman. it's the lack of good coaching that frustrates me.

If the past is the past when speaking about wins, why isn't it the same with the losses?

I'm not overly optimistic. If you'll check the prediction thread for the Amazon gift card, you'll see that I picked Cal to win.

It isn't about tonight's game, it's about "the same ole routine" with people crying about Fulmer as it is the "same ole routine" with what's going on in Knoxville.

I agree. It'd be different if this was just happening now or this year but its been on a decline for awhile, fundamentals wise anyhow. We may have won 9 games last year but that doesn't mean that team tackled basically breakdown and fundamental than this one. I mean this isn't year one. Its been going this way for awhile and will continue to till some serious changes are made.

Why whine about the discussion on Volnation? You're welcome to leave.

The trend started in 01 with the UGA game and the second half of the SECC game. Ever since then we have been heading downhill.

The "same ole routine" of people crying is because the "same ole routine" of mediocre football has been going on for some time now.
