I didn't watch that game--I was at work, and kept up with it on Gamecast--but it had all of the hallmarks of a hangover contest. Florida comes off of a huge win against a big rival and sleepwalks through Oxford on its way to an unimpressive win against a team that couldn't beat them one time in a thousand. I wouldn't take anything from it other than it made the Gators 2-0 in the conference.

I watched it and there might have been a little bit of a lag in the Gators, but not that much. No, I think that the Gator offensive line got a little schooled on some stunts and blitzes they weren't used to. And the defense was shown that they need to worry a little bit more about people getting behind them and a little bit less about making big interceptions or hits.

I didn't say that.

But you aren't going to like what I do have to say, which is that IMO Ole Miss was much better prepare for Florida than Tennessee was. Their play calling was infinitely more effective and their defense was disciplined and, though the Gators did score 30, their defense kept us in check fairly well.

eh, your entitled obviously, but i watched it too, and they looked lathargic to me. hardly the same pep in the step they had the week before. noon game, at Ole Miss, expected to win big, just off what was supposed to be a big game with TN.....and they just "showed up". penalties, missed fg's, etc.....FL had more to do with FL being pedestrian than it did with anything Ole MIss did. Granted Ole Miss probably was really up for that game, but you're just going to have a hard time convincing me that FL was "exposed" by Ole Miss and their atheletes. If it does though, look out for Vandy, they handled the Rebs.
