'09 KY LB Ridge Wilson
Outside linebacker
Louisville (KY) Central
Ht: 6-foot-3
Wt: 207 lbs
Forty: 4.6 secs
Vertical: 30 inches
Shuttle: 4.4 secs
Class: 2009 (High School)
The 6-4, 215-pound Wilson was an honorable mention selection on the All-State team as a linebacker.
Wilson said he has not made a commitment and is also being recruited by Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisville and Indiana among others.
There has been plenty of speculation on his teammate - linebacker Ridge Wilson. But the 6-foot-4, 210-pound Wilson said he's still has "no favorite right now."
Wilson, who helped Central to its first state title in school history last fall, holds offers from Louisville, Kentucky, Cincinnati, Indiana and Arkansas.
"I am still just taking my time and will wait to see what happens when the season starts," Wilson said. "I just want to see everything out there."
Wilson talked specifically about the two local schools. He said with Louisville there was "nothing better than home. I can stay here and family come see me play."
"At UK, I go up there and I feel welcomed. I feel like it's where I need to be and I have a good connection with coach (Rich) Brooks and (Joker) Phillips. But I want to take my time."
Wilson has narrowed his list to Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennesse and Auburn. Academics, playing time, and the overall fot with the program will be important factors in his choice.
