Everytime I saw Jamarcus scramble out of the pocket I would feel sorry for the defender he was about to truck.

Russel is an Urban Meyer type QB. His size, speed, and arm strength is just unreal. He just made some stupid decisions through the air. But credit the guy, cause he battled and won the game, getting some key first downs with his feet.

Yeah, Russell was sure a big hoss for LSU, but here in Baton Rouge, I remember that lots of Tiger fans were uneasy about him and his decision-making. He was tolerated while team was winning, but he didn't have a lot of ardent supporters among the folks around me. I guess he did allright for himself, though, didn't he?

Russells 68 yards through the air throw against ND in the 07 Sugar Bowl was pretty awesome. he is ungoidly hes just in a horrible situation in oakland now

I mean we had maybe 50 yards of rushing, and LSU outgained us easily by 150 yards. QUOTE]

and about 199 of LSUs 200 yards were by russell scrambling.

LSU never knew what a running threat he was until he saddled up on the mustang.

the blown call hurt, but not covering russell especially after what they did to us in 2001 really hurt.

That was my first big game at Neyland. It was a good one, if only it ended at 59 minutes 52 seconds...

I'm sure they don't show the same games out here on the West Coast. Anytime CSS has a classic game involving UT, the Vols are losing.
