...and about to be 0 - 4 in the SEC overall, when will the bleeding stop???

That last drive by itself kept them from having negative yardage for the second half of the game.

The kids looked like they were showing up for a pickup game in the first half with no prep and then there was no adjustment in the second half.

This would have been a lot uglier if their RB1 hadn't been injured from the get go.

Things to take away from this game:

Butch needs to be fired and Hoke placed as IHC.
Currie needs to make a proven HC hire before the end of the year to save recruiting and to stop the dumpster fire that will happen if Jones stays until the end of the year. *See Dooleys last year.

what wa the offense doing during the last drive that they could/should have been doing the whole game? they marched right down the field as though they had some leadsership

SCAR was only rushing 3 so it gave JG time in the pocket. Our O-line is one of the worst I’ve ever seen at UT. They miss assignments and just leave defenders unblocked. An NFL scout called them soft during the off-season and everyone here freaked out. Turns out he was right

USCjr was playing prevent D which means the underneath throws were there.

I love this thread, it's about time we started talking about the SEC, far to many equate a fluff game win with an SEC win. I guess the Fan-Boys will try to spin anything they can...

Not saying this in support of Butch, but if Hoke does well against the weak back end of our schedule and we end the year with an Ed Orgeron case on our hands...well, then what?

This is my concern as well, although I doubt we would pull an LSU. There will simply be too much riding on the next hire.

I think if the fans were loud enough about it by season's end (and the team were seemingly doing considerably better than they were the first half of the year), it could become a consideration from the powers that be.

0-8 if Butch stays the coach all year. The scheme will not change according to Butch. That means no wins and probably Missouri beats us also. Kentucky will beat this team easy. They have a much better team than SC.

The staff was gutless and didn't want to put the game in Guarantano's hands.

It was beyond stupid to make that change then turn right around and hand cuff him with such conservative play calling.
