Tennessee forward Shae O’Rourke, a junior from Wheatfield, N.Y., had three goals in wins over No.1 North Carolina and Eastern Kentucky. She registered a brace in her Tennessee debut to guide the Lady Vols to a 2-0 win over No. 1 and defending national champion, North Carolina. The win was UT’s first-ever triumph over a top-ranked team. O’Rourke followed that up with a goal in UT’s win over EKU.

Tennessee goalkeeper Cayden Norris, a sophomore from Johnson City, Tenn., opened the season with a clean sheet against top-ranked North Carolina, making five saves.
SEC gets no respect.No. Not that i recall. My depth of soccer polls is shallow, though. I was a little surprised but the huge win vs EKU was a nice confirmation for the poll participants. I kinda feel…checks poll again… that we’re the token SEC school and will be dealt with swiftly upon the first chink in our armor.
Perfect, clever name too.CrossCast for Wednesday 7:00pm PDT at UCLA
