After taking a short break at the end of the season, I’m so excited to start sharing again!!! I am finding so much joy looking back at the footage and all these memories!! This vlog takes you inside the start of SEC play as we travel for an away game at Mississippi State… all in ONE day ✈️⚽️From flying out, to game day prep, to competing on the road, this video shows what it’s really like to be a Tennessee Lady Vol Soccer player during SEC season. This game was our reminder to trust the process, stack good days, and trust the work we put in every day.

University of Tennessee Standout Ally Brown Signs Multi-Year Deal with Lexington SC​

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Lexington Sporting Club has signed defender and University of Tennessee graduate Ally Brown to a contract through 2027.

“I chose to sign with LSC because of the club’s culture and competitive environment,” said Brown. “I’m excited to get to work and be part of a team with championship-level goals.”

In four seasons with the Lady Volunteers, Brown made 64 appearances with 55 starts. She found the back of the net three times and logged 11 assists.

As a senior, Brown was named First Team All-SEC in 2025 and the SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year. She also received Third Team All-SEC honors as a junior in 2024 and a number of academic awards throughout her collegiate career.

On Jan. 15, Brown was one of 24 players selected to attend the U.S. Women’s National Team Development Camp in Los Angeles. She will join LSC after completing the program.

Brown was previously invited to U.S. U-17 training camps in 2019 and 2020.

The LSC women begin the second half of the 2025/26 Gainbridge Super League season Jan. 31 at Fort Lauderdale United FC. The club’s two new additions, Brown and Regan Steigleder, will be available for selection by head coach Kosuke Kimura.

Brown will wear No. 16 for the Gals in Green.

LEXINGTON, Ky. — After rounding out her collegiate career this past fall, former Tennessee women's soccer standout Ally Brown has signed a multi-year contract with Lexington Sporting Club, which currently competes in the Gainbridge USL Super League.

Brown is one of three former Tennessee soccer players currently signed to a USL Super League roster, joining Mackenzie George (Carolina Ascent FC) and Carlyn Baldwin (Fort Lauderdale United FC).

The defender from College Grove, Tennessee, was a First Team All-SEC and Fourth Team All-America selection for the Lady Vols this past season, serving as captain of a squad that led the SEC and ranked 13th nationally with 13 shutouts to tie a program record. She led the team with 1,627 minutes played during the 2025 campaign, finishing the year with two goals and four assists.

Additionally, Brown earned 2025 Third Team Best XI recognition from TopDrawerSoccer and was selected as the 2025 SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

The former Lady Vol appeared in 64 matches with 55 starts over the course of her four-year Tennessee career, totaling three goals and 11 assists. She logged more than 5,000 minutes on the pitch as a key member of UT's back line from 2022–25.

Brown will join Lexington SC after completing the U.S. Women's National Team Development Camp currently taking place in Los Angeles, California. The club holds a 5-0-9 record during the 2025–26 season, sits second on the Gainbridge Super League table and resumes action Jan. 31 at Fort Lauderdale United FC.
 
Congrats to former Lady Vol Layla Shell. She has signed her first professional contract, inking a deal with SCU Torreense Feminino, playing in Liga BPI.

Former Lady Vol Claire Rain injuries were catastrophic. She ruptured her ACL, MCL, LCL and patellar tendon. She also ruptured her meniscus. It was 820 days from injury to next game minutes.
