
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The No. 2/4 Tennessee soccer team continued its unbeaten and shutout streak to six matches after putting up a 0-0 draw against No. 14/15 Memphis.
UT now sits 2-0-1 against top-15 opponents in 2025. Additionally, Thursday's result marked the third shutout of the season against a top-15 opponent and is the fifth in the
Joe Kirt era.
Throughout six matches UT (5-0-1) has not allowed a goal. Additionally, the Tigers (5-0-1) were held scoreless for the first time this season after
Cayden Norris and the Tennessee backline came up big with clutch saves and clearances. Norris made five saves in goal for the third time this season.
Norris' biggest save was her second of the night in the 41st minute when she saved a penalty kick from Memphis' Ashley Henderson.
Norris then went on to secure four more saves throughout the night.

Leah Klurman and
Sarah Kate Rath each put shots on frame for the Big Orange but were unable to break through.
Henderson led the Tigers with three shots on goal as Abby Kudla made three saves in goal.
UP NEXT: Tennessee returns home to Regal Stadium Sunday and is set for a 1 p.m. ET matchup against Georgia Southern. Senior day will take place following the match.
