This has been a “Roller-Coaster” ride of a season!
More “Ups” than “Downs”!
The highs have been GREAT & the (few) lows have been hard.
Yeah, we could have done better….
But, (Let’s be honest…) Nobody really expected a season like THIS!!!
Anybody that can’t be happy with our results this year is either “irrational” or “insatiable” (& I know that there are a few of both here on Volnation…..)
We started out un-ranked & we progressed every week (except for ONE!!!!)
10-2 with a Major bowl bid (still yet to be determined)
Heupel has us looking at (and caring about) the Polls, again.
It’s also crazy how you find a kin-ship with the players (especially when things are going good…)
I feel like our worst Loss this year was NOT South Carolina
- it was Hendon Hooker! Just sad how it all happened in the same game…..
It’s been nice having Tennessee back in the spot-light, again….
Got my old 1998 Ford F-150 covered in VOLS stuff (For YEARS) - And I have enjoyed getting some “honks” and “thumbs-up” going down the road…..
I raised both of my sons on Tennessee, and it was GREAT sharing this season with them!
Thanks to ALL of the TENNESSEE “family” community for a season that we will NEVER forget!
(Knoxville; University; Administration; Leadership; Coach’s; Team; Players; Students; Fans; - even Rivals…)
Now let’s WIN this damn bowl game & flip the page to Men’s & Lady VOLS Basketball!!!
(VOLS Baseball & Softball right around the corner, too!)
