Clemson receiver Amari Rodgers sat next to running back Travis Etienne at Clemson’s media day ahead of Monday’s national championship game and answered questions, while also doing some listening to what Etienne had to say.

Rodgers was taken aback by one comment that came out of the tailback’s mouth.

With Etienne set to return home to Louisiana, he was asked if he grew up an LSU fan.

I think we all knew about Lawrence being a huge Peyton fan and Higgins was committed to Tennessee for a while, and everybody knows that Rodgers is Tee Martin's son. I had no idea about Etienne ever being a fan, though. Quite honestly, I would have preferred to have kept it that way. Kinda depressing.

Tee Higgins was the biggest loss imo.

Elite WR that was committed to the good guys until Butch got exposed for who he really was.
