His point was that we have posters that want to cry foul when someone doesn't choose us, but act like we are somehow landing these kids by playing a totally different game. Kids and families aren't passing up 6 figures just to play for Rick Barnes lol

I think the difference is there are probably certain lines Barnes is unwilling to cross. It would be naive to say we're not skirting the rules to some degree. I have no doubt we are doing something illegal. But, most P5 teams are probably skirting the rules. However, I'm sure there are certain waters that Memphis and LSU are willing to "wade" (pun intended) in that we are not. There is a reason why Will Wade and Penny Hardaway have the reputation they have and it's not for being clean.
