‘21 CA SG Jahmai Mashack [UT commit 9/8/20]

Love him talk about the culture. If you have an immediate buy-in it makes a big difference in development and team dynamic

And yes, Mashack specifically mentions Jabari Smith & Ryan Mutombo by name...would be a hell of a fall signing class.
Obv we don’t know whats going to happen with players going, but having Mashack and potentially Mutumbo to go with Corey Walker in a couple of years will be stout as well.

Just mentioning them because of the “sweet spot” comment.

See, English isn’t the only reason why we’re landing all these recruits....

Barnes still has a good reputation and his results prove that.

Wouldn't ON and Pons be considered in the "Sweet Spot", also. Pons was like #75, so he definitely would be in the SS

In this definition, the Sweet Spot Brian Snow was referring to was a Top-50 recruit that isn't a one and done. Pons was just outside of that.

Once again CRB lands a high character and high talent recruit. Mutombo, Smith and call it a class!

But still, I get the idea of the Sweet Spot. High level recruits that stick around at the least a couple of years and becomes a team that can win a Natty like Villanova has done 2 out of the last 6 years

I noticed that 247 had Mashack listed as a small forward, whereas Rivals had him listed as a shooting guard. The News-Sentinel also listed him as a SF, getting their info from 247.
Team rankings on the two recruiting sites differ a great deal as well. Rivals has the Vols up to 9th in the rankings, but 247 has us at 19th, one spot behind Kansas.
