    Snakes

I lived in Arizona until I was 5. My dad used to get his fun (i.e. gun) money making and selling rattlesnake skin belts, buckles, sheaths, etc. I also remember being in the bathtub one time and seeing a garter snake slither down the hallway.

Peyton Manning's New Bourbon Is So Legit....

He is right about tequila at least.... That goes back to NAFTA and now the USMCA. You are correct about bourbon. It has to be made in the US, but not necessarily Kentucky. Another example is MGP which is one of the oldest and largest distilleries in the country and which supplies the juice...

Peyton Manning's New Bourbon Is So Legit....

13-year, “peanuty-aroma”? Sure sounds like the same juice as Dickel Bottled in Bond. Hard pass

Whisky, bourbon or scotch and what's your favorite?

EHT? I hear it’s contagious. You should probably send it here for quarantine

Whisky, bourbon or scotch and what's your favorite?

$60 is a good deal. $53 is phenomenal. I bought my last bottle at the distillery for $75. I’ve seen it several places for $100

Whisky, bourbon or scotch and what's your favorite?

I gave up bourbon buying for Lent. The struggle is real!

Doesn’t drink as hot as you’d expect at 136.8 proof

Whisky, bourbon or scotch and what's your favorite?

buy on the small batch, if it is still there. It is one of my favorites. Retail is $40, but I'll buy it when I see it for $50, too. I have not tried the straight rye yet, but $75 sounds fair for it. Hard pass on Blanton's at $110.

Doug Matthews says more offensive staff changes expected

Rocker and Weinke have contracts that run out at the end of the month (so did David Johnson). Seems like they would have been extended by now if Pruitt intended to keep them on board.

Whisky, bourbon or scotch and what's your favorite?

You inspired me to try another pour from the 90% full bottle of Dickel BiB that’s been sitting on my shelf for 6 months. Yep, still hate it. I actually passed up Eagle Rare for this bottle because Total Wine considered it allocated at the time ( and you could only get one allocated bottle per...

Whisky, bourbon or scotch and what's your favorite?

Get your lighter ready. A good pour, to be sure, but not worthy of the hype IMHO.

Whisky, bourbon or scotch and what's your favorite?

I feel the opposite about those two. The great thing about bourbon is that everyone’s palate is different, so there is no right or wrong

Whisky, bourbon or scotch and what's your favorite?

The Knoxville bourbon market is terrible. Way too many flippers and hoarders out there. Total Wine has good prices, but the masses descend within minutes of allocated bottles hitting the shelves. They got an OWA store pick last week, and the whole barrel was gone in an hour and a half...

Looks like beer at Neyland was a success

I don’t understand the continued outrage over the beer prices. They pour you a 24 oz can, so you’re getting two beers for $12. Is it more than what you’d pay at a grocery store? Yeah, but it’s not out of line with what you pay at concerts, cruise ships, theme parks, festivals, and some bars...

If We End Up 8-5, Do We Lose Assistants?

Johnson, Rocker, and Weinke all have contracts that expire Jan 31. If they were going to be kept, you would think their contracts would’ve been extended by now. But who knows, maybe it happens next week
