Where does he live? If he does both, he will have no problem finding a job as long as he's in a relatively big city. May even be able to find remote work with that skillset.

I can't wait for AOC to be old enough to embarrass herself on the debate stage. She'll probably be making millions as a CNN or MSNBC contributor by then, though.

Next gen Xbox officially called Xbox Series X

300 hz is a laughable claim and should get Panasonic knocked for false advertising. A gaming monitor was just announced that can do 360 hz and it's a huge deal. 240 hz was the limit for a long time. Your TV is "true" 60 hz which is standard, and the 96 hz mode is likely some sort of processed...

Next gen Xbox officially called Xbox Series X

Most of those TVs aren't true 120 hz or 240 hz or whatever though. It looks like more moving forward will be true 120 hz. Also will be interesting to see if how many people buy a Series X as a PC replacement and just hook it up to gaming monitors.

Next gen Xbox officially called Xbox Series X

Absolutely. It will be interesting to see how developers take advantage of that much power. I think we will see racing and fast-paced action games with 120 FPS options at 1080p or 1440p. The limiting factor is of course how few people have TVs with refresh rates over 60 hz. But I would imagine...

Just watched the movie a few nights ago. Still probably the biggest sports upset of all time. Would be like a Canadian college football team beating the Kansas City Chiefs.

    Counter-Strike

My favorite Counterstrike memories are playing 1.6 in high school on the LAN in one of my computer classes. Only me and one other guy were familiar with mouse and keyboard controls, so it was everyone vs us, and we would just annihilate people. I wasn't even that great at the game but I was...

Definitely. Or just the young finance grads biding their time in the minors hoping to get called up to the big leagues in NYC.

It really annoys me. Saw it big time in Nashville but even moreso in Charlotte (financial industry transplants). There's a palpable superiority complex among many of them when they're around people with local ties to the area/region. What really saddens me is almost never hearing a Southern...

    Counter-Strike

It's still probably the best true skill-based FPS in existence. Also still very active. I suspect it will never be overtaken because no company wants to commit to a multiplayer game that has an indefinite shelf life (i.e., by making sure it's extremely well-balanced and mostly free of BS). Much...

Wrong. Prince's has been making hot chicken since 1945. Hipsters popularized it in the 2010s but it has been around for a long, long time in Nashville.

Had a dog and a cat growing up. They were outside pets unless it was really cold. Even then we only let our dog in the garage (had a big bed in there) and would only let the cat in if we could actually find her. Dog had a big yard to play in and cat just roamed wherever and came back to eat...

Only a few A-listers from the 90s who haven't won Oscars now that Pitt has won. Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Will Smith, and Harrison Ford are about all I can think of.

These kids all have big egos and everyone around them thinks they're the greatest athletes ever, so they step on campus at places like Bama and assume they'll either start right away or be a backup year one and All-American and on draft boards by year two.

If you take away Muschamp's 11-2 season he's almost exactly a .500 coach in 8 years on the job. Also exactly .500 in SEC play. Pretty clear that year was an aberration for him. And his 9-4 second season at South Carolina seems similar. He comes in, does an okay job in year one, overachieves in...
