    Tennessee Vols Basketball Recruiting

This transfer rule could become a major part of recruiting, no longer can only add a graduate transfer to have someone immediate eligible, could add anyone who hasn’t transferred before and they’d be immediately eligible...game changer. Think about the potential big men across the country who...

    Interesting, I would’ve assumed it’s not permitted.

He’d be allowed on the bench without being a student?

Probably not, but also isn’t necessary.

Yea I didn’t specifically mention Auburn, just stating that it’s still plausible for that Net Ranking to move quite a bit.

I was meaning more in reference to you having said we may not move much this late...seems like quite a bit of movement could still occur.

@BruinVol I know we had discussed movement some, NCST climbed 8 spots in NET ranking with their home win against Duke last night fwiw.

I think you’ll start to see us pop up on some next 4 outs today and tomorrow if some get published...Arkansas and Alabama on life support, same for Minnesota, no way Purdue can be in right now or really even considered until they win a couple...just not a huge pool of teams to choose from.

This thread, along with a couple of others, has shown the ignorance some of this fanbase has towards the NCAAT process.

UK twice, LSU and Georgia? They’re currently 35, need to improve 5 spots, seems pretty plausible they could do that with a few wins.

But what about a 11 point home win verse 1 point road win? Lol

    Official Bracket Watch Thread

Florida could play their way into a Q1 win also though, so many variables at this point...nobody can say definitively 17-14 has us out, just the same way I won’t say it has us in. I think it definitely has us in the discussion but at that point you’re at the liberty of other things outside your...

I think the home losses in that other scenario may hurt...home wins against Auburn (Q1), Florida (Q2), and then losses on the road to Arkansas (Q1), UK (Q1) and Auburn (Q1) would probably be the best “resume booster”.
  18. bleedingTNorange

    Excited about the win

They are a Q1&2 combined 7-11 with 4 games remaining, Tennessee is 6-13 with 5 games remaining...we will have nearly identical total Q1 & Q2 games by seasons end.

If you have a 25% chance then you are very much in the discussion, that’s all my point was...at that point it will come down to what the committee is favoring this year, what other bubble teams do, and also the conference tourneys.

There’s no way you can definitively say that, just as I can’t say that 17 wins and we are dancing...GBO!
