    Congrats, Vols

I am very pleased with my Panthers. Backup QB and 2 missed FGs and still took it to OT. Go win the rest, guys.

    Recruits visiting during Pitt game

Neyland is all bench seats designed for 105 pound people. Every seat at Heinz is a good seat..... arm rests, comfortable, cup holders, and great view. You're right, it is no comparison. Upper deck at Heinz are better seats than lower bowl at Neyland.

    Orange Everywhere In Pittsburg

As a Pitt fan, I predict the crowd tomorrow will be 48-50k Pitt, 10-12k UT. 60k total.

I think WVU made Pitt look a lot better than they are

I would generally agree with you.... But you should know that 17 of 22 starters for Pitt last year have returned. The "all they lost from last year" really only applies to Pickett and Addison. 9 of 11 starters on defense and 8 of 11 starters on offense are back.

    We're in Pittsburgh!

Not worth it in a game you're down by 5+ TDs. But if it is a close game, I can see it happening.

I think WVU made Pitt look a lot better than they are

Pope Francis made him a Saint? Saint Krull? Didn't think he performed enough miracles to be a saint.

    We're in Pittsburgh!

I just said I don't condone it. But I still expect it to happen. As it will with every opponent UT plays.

    We're in Pittsburgh!

While I am not defending the practice.... as long as it is still legal, expect Pitt (and other teams) to have defensive players down on the field with a "cramp" at key moments of UT's drives to slow down the tempo. The NCAA hasn't done anything to stop teams from doing it - so expect teams to...

UT Ticket Allotment (Pittsburgh Game) per Jimmy Hyams

That wasn't a picture of the Pitt-WVU game. That's from 9/18/2021 against Western Michigan - and it was the 2nd home game after COVID restrictions were relaxed. Less tickets than normal sold for 2021 season.

    Recruits visiting during Pitt game

Frankly, I hope they find a way to move it to Thanksgiving weekend and make it every year. If Clemson-SC, Ky-Lville, FSU-Florida, GT-UGA can all play later in the year..... so can Pitt-WVU.

    Recruits visiting during Pitt game

Well, they only had to travel 70 miles. And even with that, they were only 20% of the crowd.

UT Ticket Allotment (Pittsburgh Game) per Jimmy Hyams

Pitt sold 2,500 standing-room-only tickets for the Backyard Brawl. That's why the attendance was more than the official capacity of 68,400.

    We're in Pittsburgh!

It is actually the "Carnegie Museum of Natural History". It is on the border of the campuses of Pitt and Carnegie-Mellon universities. It is not affiliated with Carnegie-Mellon University, though. Lots of things around Pittsburgh are named after Andrew Carnegie.

Anyone attending 9/10 game at Pitt?

I sit in the North Club... 205. I had season tickets in 108 before that. The 200 level is worth every penny extra. I'll never go back down to the 100s.

    Recruits visiting during Pitt game

There are no terrible seats in Heinz Field.

What other message boards are saying (Pitt Edition)

Most SEC teams won't come north for an OOC game. Kudos for UT for doing so. Pitt did host Texas A&M and South Carolina BEFORE they were SEC teams, by the way.

    Recruits visiting during Pitt game

The breakdown was about 55k Pitt, 15k WVU.

    2022 Rivals Review Week 1

Based on these descriptions..... anything less than a 12-0 regular season by UT would be an utter failure.

    Recruits visiting during Pitt game

Fair enough. It is more of a B1G thing (not counting Northwestern and Purdue). PSU likes to brag about their "107k strong" every home game ..... but : A) There is literally nothing else to do within 100 miles of Happy Valley in any direction B) PSU has an undergrad enrollment of over...
