The car selling adventures of Yankee

That may be very true. I don’t know your situation. There are great stores in GA and terrible ones. Sometimes it’s tough to tell the difference till you’re in it. Good luck, however you choose to go.

I’m general, the in dealership culture of the business is terrible. Like I said, if you have another way to go, Godspeed...

Several of the manufacturers and lenders are pushing back against the add on market adjustment. I have been advising dealers against it (in most cases) as well. It is still pretty widespread, but starting to fade.

I can echo Txbo’s comments on Hendrick. I’m very familiar with the group and their operations. It’s all about process and how they do things. 100 plus stores and most of them are volume leaders in their areas. Succeeding as a salesperson there, while being on their processes, will open plenty...

    Subaru Outback

Subaru is a very good make. One of the highest retention rates in the industry. We put over 200k on an outback legacy. Mrs drove it then the child drove it. Minimal issues (head gasket and hang bearing were the big pieces ) with standard maintenance it should be a good buy.
