'22 TN QB Ty Simpson (Alabama commit)

I wonder if the statement "doing what he wants" is even true. At first, the narrative was AL/Clem was putting pressure on him to make a decision. Yesterday it was stated he wanted to do it so his dad can concentrate on the college season. AP stated he still was uncertain on what to do as of...

So he is making a decision that he might not be 100% sure about, because two teams told him to do it now or never. I would in turn tell those teams to ........, of course it's easier for me to say that because I have nothing at stake in this. He needs to be 100% sure in his decision regardless...

If he is truly struggling with a decision, it sounds like he needs to wait until he is sure what he wants to do. Anyone know why he is so adamant to do it now, especially if he is unsure what he wants to do. To me, it would make a lot more sense to wait before making a big decision, but then...

I'm sure we are but if we can get one and stop a mass exodus of players to other P5 schools, it would benefit us greatly later. If GA and OSU want them and they are both top 250 prospects, I see no reason for TN to look outside State unless they aren't interested.

I agree but we have to sign one of the two In-state backs next year. Right now, Hayden is a OSU lean and James is leaning UGA. We have time to change and I'm hoping they don't commit until after our coaches have had a chance to show them the new system that we'll be implementing. If we can...

Pushing back his commitment a week allows for 6-7 more phone conversations to take place. A lot can happen and hope is still there.

Same with me. I have two, 19 & 17 and I didn't have first one until my 30's. Now my 19yo has joined the military and is waiting on his deployment date. My wife has cried many days about him leaving and will continue long after he is gone. Time goes by faster than I ever thought, so spend as...

This is what "living behind a keyboard" can do. Differing opinions doesn't mean we attack someone. Before this generation, we would listen and be open about what is being said and then make an informed decision. Unfortunately, the society we are in is quick to accuse or defend without any...

If he can stop a slant pass, he's already surpassed a bunt single.

And I was at least being respectful and hoping to read your "insight" into why he's not SEC caliber, but the above statement eliminated any credibility.

And the top ranked DL in HS is in our State!! Wonder who his first phone call will be too?

Three Interesting stats (thank you KenPom)

The increased pace will also make us rely on the bench more due to fatigue. I read somewhere(can't remember where) that KJ was fatigued at the end of the game last night and the fact that Barnes plays man defense, will only magnify this. It will be critical to get in better shape if we want to...

    Al Washington (Potential DC)

That speaks volumes and will take time to correct. We can't simply undo what's happened during this time period in a couple years. For the first time in a long time, we (apparently) have a competent AD & Chancellor, so if the HC is anywhere near serviceable, we might actually be on the right...

Refs workin it at corRUPPt arena

If my eyes didn't deceive at halftime, as the players were going to the locker room, I think CRB stayed on the floor to have a "discussion" with the refs. CRB is a very respected coach and I believe that is why the second half was more evenly called.

I don't say much about refs, but that charge call again Pons was horrible.

My thinking is completely the opposite. Weinke never developed any of the QB's and I think that would have hurt us. JH has developed QB's and Ty has seen that and was enough for him. Way optimistic, I know, but I have to believe at some point time we can stop getting kicked in the groin.
