Top 10 lists just don’t do it for me any longer. Top 15 lists are much more official or maybe I can’t settle on a top 10. Had to think on this one for a little bit but what the hell here it goes in no particular order.

Slayer
The doors
The Misfits
Black Sabbath (With Ozzy of course)
Iron Maiden
Johnny Cash
Cannibal Corpse
David Allan Coe
Pantera
Allman Brothers
CCR
Randy Travis
Metallica
Charley Pride
The Clash

Go ahead and bash away or give me some props. Proceed with your top 15!

Off the top combo of current/all-time:

Tyler Childers
Jason Isbell
Sturgill Simpson
DMB
TOOL
Metallica
RATM
Van Halen
Daft Punk
Pantera
Eminem
Macklemore/+Ryan Lewis
Above and Beyond/Oceanlab

Edit:. Thinking and seeing responses, I could easily add NIN, STP, James Taylor, Smashing Pumpkins equally into the list. Tori Amos and John Mayer, too.

You might be my soulmate bro. Couldn't agree more. Every song on both albums is a banger! Koopsta Knicca starting off Stomp with "Voices in them trees"... yes! And Aquemini is the height of all that is hip-hop....perfection.

R.I.P. Lord Infamous... he made Three Six for me. His super fast chant rapping was epic.

I like a lot of different music. It runs the spectrum, old school East coast rap to bluegrass, southern rock to classical, even international stuff. It’s hard for me to even make a list of my favorite bands. I appreciate it all. But my favorite band is probably sublime 🙃

Avenged and Shinedown are two very underrated bands. Little disapointed no one has mentioned Disturbed. Since I go back further than most, I'd also add in The Grass Roots....yeah...my tastes span decades and genres. Skynyrd also remains in heavy rotation in my library.

I'm a Disturbed fan. They have 10-12 very good songs and David Draiman has some of the best vocal range of all time. They are one of those bands I forget on my lists and have an "Oh yeah, Disturbed!" moment.

I really enjoy how much Avenged Sevenfold has grown musically. Hail To The King is one of my favorite albums ever and really like their early stuff before their drummer died. Really like how they have two very good lead guitarists. They have some amazingly recognizable rock riffs and great solos.

Wash It All Away by FFDP is one of my favorite songs of all time. The main guitar riff is legendary....hard rock at its finest. And Coming Down is another all time favorite song.
