Look at the offensive playbook. No fake punts, zero trick plays; even a random play selection by computer would vary the play calling better. UT has a serious coaching problem.
And let's talk about first downs. If an armchair dufus like me, who has zero experience playing the game can guess the play call (run up the middle) then I'm fairly confident the opposing defense knows what's coming.
When reviewing a season schedule, all the puff teams must be discounted. And would it hurt to put two top 15 teams on the out of conference schedule? With a strong schedule, even a 10-2 season record would boost the team's rankings. This program is at least two seasons away from that.
