'10 CA QB Tyler Bray (Commit/On Campus)

there hasn't been any reports on day 4. So I guess Whitmer won day 4 by enough of a margin to overtake Bray. That or Whitmer was more impressive in the gerneral drills.

The "college counselors" of the camp (in the above link) rated it Heaps, Brays, Whitmer, Montana, and Bolden. I wasn't able to read all the rivals take, but Montana was consistent and accurate all 4 days (ESPN reports). The only one with same report was Heaps. I know Montana did well in the...

Ha, Nick Montana did seem impressive. I kept on reading consistency and accuracy in the reports. Yeah, with Scrroggins off the shelf, Brays and maybe Grayson seems like your best chance for a solid QB this class. Best of luck with Brays.

well, Scout has given their top 5 and none of the big names (Sims, Bell, Scroggins) stood out. Not sure why Sims didn't do well but Bell obviously didn't do well because he is still raw and gets most of his high rating from his atheleticism. For Scroggins, I read of a grip problem that Scroggins...

Again, I'm only passing along info from what I read. And my feelings aren't hurt. You may or may not have read this before, but I didn't get into the NW until last year. Before that, I was always in the Deep South.

down year in the sense that there isn't a high 4 star or 5star? Yes. In fact, probably the worst. Down year as in the quantity of 4 stars? No. If measured by quantity, only 02, 03, and 09 had more 4 stars. So in a sense, that AMP video "Is it a down year for QBs?" on Rivals isn't completely...

For one, last year was a down year. And second, as I said/heard, the top end talent is there, but thin. It's concentrated in only a few programs and those programs can rival any on the West Coast (e.g. Skyline).

From what I read, WA football in general is weaker (expected), but it's top programs are as good as any program on the West Coast. As for players, there are always players. Jake Heaps this year (who btw won the Stanford Nike MVP and is expected to be in the Rivals 100). Kavario Middleton a...

Well, I'm not sure if you're referring to the right Vancouver. The well known Vancouver is the one in British Columbia, Canada. That's the famous one (probably the one you know). Vancouver, Washington is one of the more isolated places. Even before college, I've been to Vancouver, BC to...

Vancouver WA isn't a completely unknown place for Northwest residents. I've only been in the NW for a year and I know of the place within months. Jake Locker came from Ferdale, which is literally in the middle of nowhere. Ferdale is arguably even less known than Vancouver and Locker was...

I understand, I've read of the ESPN Combine articles about him, but it's still a bit curious to not see a single offer. The question for me at this time is whether the Vols have the interest in him.

it actually started when I used my father's aim (he had AOL dial up internet, but didn't use AIM) username and I just got used to it. But anyway, it's just what it is, a username.

The point is that Idaho usually gets the "leftovers" of Washington State U (who got Connor Halliday) and none of the Northwest schools expressed any interest at all, not even Idaho. so while Grayson may have no interest in Idaho, Idaho could possibly have interest in him if he was good.

FWIW, even Idaho didn't offer the kid and they are the ultimate laughing stock of the D1 Northwest schools.

'10 CA QB Jesse Scroggins (USC Solid Verbal)

I agree that Locker has nothing to do with any of this. And just as clarification, Locker is NOT going to the minors and diss football (said it multiple times already). You can sign baseball contracts and still play football. The only thing a baseball contract restricts you would be to join...
