Understood...... You seem like a good man.....and we're probably not totally at odds over this...just coming from two differing perspectives. I see your point on programs creating long-term dependants......I would like to see that changed too.

That, sadly, does exist in many pockets of society. Which is why I would love to see an overhaul of the welfare system......get these people in some training, so that they can ween off the program and become assets to the community, instead of burdens on the system.

May be stating the obvious here, but this is a numbers game, pure and simple. The Max income tax affects a SMALL percentage of the population DIRECTLY. Now, it can have trickle-down ramifications, as it pertains to employment levels, but I suppose it is easier to grab from them, than the next...
