15 whole minutes? That cracks me up for some reason.

Very fair. That 1-2 Road/2-1 at home approach gets you in. Where you make your hay is doing exactly what you said- Sweep who you should at home, steal a couple on the road. 3 or 4 games over .500 in conference is a great place to be 99% of the time. Where I land on the frustration is the...

Don't get all logical on them... C. Burke has said it for years... don't get swept on the road and win your home series. They let a golden opportunity slip away. Hopefully they learn from it and move on.

    Lindsey Nelson Stadium,

Some of my favorite days of the year are when we're on the road and I'm outside putzing around with outside projects listening to John call the games. I'd say we can easily get this accomplished. Wilkerson is fairly active on twitter, and Mike Keith is pretty interactive on IG and their text...

Really appreciated how Elander handled Baiotto last night. Kid got into a rough spot, was going similar to how he did against Kent State. Plunked a kid to load the bases. Elander came out but didn't pull him. (13-1 at the time allows a lot of leeway, i don't deny that). Last AB went...

    Lindsey Nelson Stadium,

Makes me happy people are looking for him. Deserves all the good that comes his way. He definitely needs a banner outside the booth, some lights around the window, or something to call it out just a little.

2024 doesn't happen without the scars of 2022 (how it ended) and 2023. And, shoot, even within 2023, I don't think you make Omaha without having gone through the soup like you did to start SEC play. Its why I like this team having been stressed several times so far. *IF* they figure it out...

I've been around the dugout for all but about 4 innings so far this year. I will say this- I do think there's a couple of guys who can assume leadership roles. I've seen them do it several times so far this year. Some groups get it ironed out in the fall, sometimes it takes actual time in...

Elander makes bold statement about bats.

Hold on. He's been the batting coach a long time...in which he was also at 3rd the whole time. So why exactly does that mean he needs to be in the dugout?

The year 2 slump is absolutely a real thing in college baseball. That's not a surprise at all. We've seen it many, many times. How long it lasts is the true question mark. I agree with your thought that they'll eventually find their rhythm and look better in May than they do now. I want to...

People would be wise to look around the country and see what else is going on. The game right now seems to be keep your head above water until you get it firing on all cylinders. McKee and Heflin both said 4-1 on that week is something you'd take 10/10 times and I agree with them. You got...

So, so true. There was something really great about those broadcasts, its hard to explain. Its such an early 90s Knoxville thing in my memories. They were a great older, more classic style of broadcast (That I think Wilkerson has carried on)...relaxed yet informative, never took themselves...

    Lindsey Nelson Stadium,

Its ridiculous. I've said it before, probably in this thread, but their grab/go setup is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen in a stadium. And, yes, they ask for a tip when you walk in, grab an item and present it at the cash register.

Non-premium fans are encouraged to park at the UT Cherokee campus, take a convenient and refreshing swim across the Tennessee River, and then a rejuvenating walk across the ag campus to access LNS. Paper towels will be provided to the first 32 fans to dry off after their swim.
