I can tell you as a member that things were changed in Chris Fuller's statement from what he originally sent the band. Whether this was to cover his tail or was just backpeddling from the all the flak the AD was getting, I don't know. But it was different.

This is NOT what Fuller said in his memo to Dr. Gary Sousa this week on details about the game. We have a reason behind our uproar, and Fuller is not letting on about it.

We're doing the exact same thing. We leave on Thursday, spend the day on the beach on Friday, and blast Rocky Top in the Swamp Saturday evening.

The whole band is going to Florida and Bama, pep band to Kentucky. I was excited about getting to play Rocky Top at Mizzou for the first time, but oh well.
