    Since Georgia got punished for losing the SEC Championship Game by 3 points last year, I would have been ok with SMU missing the playoffs this year. I mean Georgia was undefeated going into the SEC Championship Game last year and got screwed.

    It shouldn't be out the most deserving teams. It should be about the best teams. Is SMU a better team than Alabama ? Does SMU have better athletes than Alabama ? Would SMU be favored against Alabama ?

    According to what i'm looking at, the quickest route from Knoxville to Pittsburgh would take you through West Virginia, and not Columbus.

    I lived in Indiana for 4 years. It can most definitely snow in Columbus in Late December.

    Columbus may not be Green Bay, but you can easily get a big snowstorm this time of year in Columbus.
