Few schools have a recruiting base like “Pork & Beans”, ”Little Havana”, “Little Haiti”, “Liberty City” within 20-miles of their school. 60% of their roster comes from 20-miles of their school. Those communities fed Miami back in the heyday of the “U” Also.

Now that players are getting paid, it‘s a business. Some players go to 4 teams in 4 years, they don’t care what color the uniform is. Now coaches need to be able to adjust their pay when their game goes south. This pay to play can go both ways if the schools get a backbone.
