No need for VN to have any more experience, and they certainly do not need to see what goes on at a practice.

True but of the 23, how many were really going to play any significant role? I agree we are behind in the portal race and have some significant ground to make up but the 2 to 23 ratio is a bit misleading.

I was thinking about this. I frankly think Simpson might be a better fit if CJH's offense, but if Joey has another year, I would not go after Simpson. Joey has a year under his belt and was a great addition this year. If Joey can't play another year, I think one year with Simpson would be good...
