kim is scheduling a pretty brutal schedule. definitely think you need to let this team have time to gel, a lot of new faces. we’re definitely going to be tested come SEC play and then obviously that’s always a gauntlet.

which IMO is a net negative for the sport. those girls deserve to play on those teams. the NCAA did not properly think any of this through. NIL is a beautiful thing, but they have to fix it.

which makes me sad bc this completely takes mid major teams out of the conversation of competitions every single year. this is doing a lot more harm to teams than good. buying a championship is lame IMO.

it also would be different if we were the only fanbase complaining about this but my twitter is FULL of fans from teams across softball complaining about how T. Tech is operating. heck, there’s a ton of softball coaches across the divisions scratching their head at the TP and T. Tech situation...

regarding tanner, kirkpatrick, rodriguez, brown etc. and their perceived relationships, every team has players who will not play. only 9 girls can play. every team has girls who play very minimal throughout the season. i’m 100% sure karen was straight up with them about their roles this year...

the tennessee fanbase is literally the definition of the sky is falling. players are going to step up. we’re going to see players vastly improve next year. were might have one of the freshman step in and be elite. we still have the portal to work. CALM

i’d rather put money towards 3-4 girls that can hit .315-.350 than one player who hits high .300/ low .400. we need good consistency in our lineup.

really hope she turns it on. she has amazing power, just needs to learn how to shorten her swing and hit for contact sometimes.

clarke is solid but her bat does need to improve a lot. she came on later on the year, but needs to be hitting in the .300 next year if we want to see an improvement in our offense. same with the leach sisters (which i definitely think will happen).

i think karen will work the portal for a replacement.

i do think we will be fine. will miss TP, but i think karen will find a good replacement. again, nothing you can do when they are chasing the money. not a fan of texas tech at all anymore.
