Of course there is gonna be a drop off after the most prolific rushing season in School and arguably SEC recent history. For bishops first year starting he was great and who says he doesn’t get better this year.
Haynes is the only one who I think is definitely better than bishop and he was asking for two million dollars. I seriously don’t see the point of paying a running back two million dollars when bishop is already coming back and was statistically better last year.
What about Hollywood smother made him better than Bishop? I mean hell they averaged the same yards per carry and bishop blew him out of the water in rushing touchdowns.
I don’t give a damn if he’s a nfl back, when he performs better in college than these “nfl” backs. Averaging 6 yards a carry isn’t to shabby for a returning junior
He’s good for a backup option. Which is what we need…… Anybody expecting us to drop 2 million dollars for Haynes or anybody like that needs to readjust their expectations. We have a great starter in bishop already
That can go both ways though in my opinion. If they know he’s committing to Tennessee and they say, “we don’t need to go” that could give away his commitment to UT as well. I think I lean wolverines but I don’t take volquest not going as anything worth looking at
