Also noticed Memphis is 4 and 0 as well and is ranked #15. UT plays them after Western Carolina, Sept 4th at Memphis. Another top 15 team. Assuming UT gets by WCU, thats a huge game at Memphis. Would assume UT climbs to #1 if they can win at Memphis.

I looked up LMU 1 game at UCSB and they were out shot 27 to 10, but still won 2 to 1. Just looking at the box score LMU doesn't seem all that good. However, UT had 1 shot at UCLA and still won so who knows.

Unranked to #1 has likely never happened in any sport ever. However after beating UCLA on the road and winning 9 to 0 at home, there is no question who should be #1 as long as UT wins Sat. A loss Saturday would be quite shocking at this point.

The fact UT has beat #1 UNC 2 0 and #4 to 6 UCLA on the road 1 0, not to mention winning 9 0 is just unreal. And thats with Simmons tearing her ACL and out for the season. Wow. UT should undoubtedly be #1 when the next polls come out. If UT with 3 more road games comes back home still...
