I was in band is the only relevant thing in regards to that. The hand sign stands for 1 - 11 which was our "theme song" I guess you can say. "Group" name has nothing to do with the school name, hand sign has nothing to do with the name.

I have ALOT of pride in all my home teams including the Miami Norland High School Vikings (my alma mater)... V4L in my case stands for Viking For Life.. I know it also stands for Vol For Life in Tennessee, but it doesn't phase me at all to use this screen name because I have been saying V4L...

This kid had no respect for the hurricanes. His head coach is an alumni of FSU and encouraged the situation...Williams knows all about Miami but when he received an offer from UM he tweeted the hashtag #GoDucks...You can see how much he cared about Miami if you look at his twitter timeline...

I went to middle school with Chad Thomas (our starting DE)...He and some of the other players said while Byrd was on his OV to Miami, that day we had a few players drop out during the work out session and Byrd gave the impression that he did not want to be apart of that.

His school is in an area of Florida that is hard to reach without going out of your way to get there. It hurts your overall time to recruit other schools in Florida.

First off, congrats on getting Williams he is definitely a speedy stud that would have been highly recruited if his team had better composure. But I would just like to point out that this article has wrong information. Scott never recruited him while at UM. Latrell Williams was commited to USF...

Congrats on stealing Tyler Byrd and Latrell Williams from under our noses, they would have both been big contributors to our success. Hoping these Florida born studs can find success with their decisions. Hopeful I can see them both in the NFL one day repping their home state.
