    I remember my first game at 10 yrs old in 1968 vs #14 GA tech. After watching the band come to field and vol walk, my older brother got me in the student section, it was wild.

    While there was plenty of complaints about seeding, I did like how they kicked AL out and made them mad. Then let them back in and got their hopes up. Then crushed them when they kicked them out again. Gave them the old double whammy. Now go Vols and beat the **** out of the Big 10 elite.

    How many times did we run up the middle on third and long? I questioned how much coach trusts Nico. I don't remember many long runs to make me think that running on third and long might be the best play call. This game is definitely on the coaches.

    If the SEC is serious about player safety, they need to look into field conditions. I wouldn't want to watch AL and GA play on such a field, even though I wouldn't mind a few non serious injuries to either team such as sprained ankle or pulled hammy, that would not heal in time for TN game for...

    I haven't seen too much discussion about the field conditions at Oklahoma, it was horrendous. It appeared to me as though Oklahoma wet down the field to slow our guys down. I have no inside info or anything, but it was questionable. If their field is always this bad, the SEC needs to step up...

    Why The Concern?

    might want to not discount fl too much. their biggest problem was untimely penalties. while they didnt run the ball very good, they did throw for 333 yards. penalties are easy to clean up. we will need to be at our best to beat them at home. i have faith we will.
