You can’t compare a winning coach and someone that has made a name for himself as a coordinator. Pruitt never was a head coach before Tennessee and Clark has been a head coach at both high school and college levels and he has won everywhere he’s been. 6-6 is his worst season as a head coach.

He might have experience under those coaches, but he is still a coordinator or position coach and not a head coach. Unfortunately I live in Alabama an hour and a half from auburn and the word is Steele and Garner did their best to undermine Malzahn and other coaches.

One thing is we don’t need Steele anywhere near the reins of the football program. He is 9-37 as a HC. Hope the new AD is smart enough to know that.
