You are missing the point. The comment I responded to stated "... with the DB coaching we have and the ability to spot really good talent that might not be readily apparent to the recruiting services at the time and turn them into NFL DBs."
I don't see evidence that CJH staff has obtained that...
Fair enough. What HS DB player has CJH and staff recruited & developed that is slotted as 1st/2nd string at LCB/RCB for upcoming 2025 season? After 5 years of recruiting/developing this should be an easily obtainable goal.
From analysis I have seen:
LCB: 1st - McCoy (transfer), 2nd - Hood...
So let's see:
Taylor was 2021 SEC coaches pre-season All-SEC 3rd Team in only season under CJH, is 6'0 & runs 4.33-4.36 40-yd dash, pretty good shot getting drafted with that evaluation
Hadden was not on pre-season All-SEC team & only played 7 games due to injury in last season, is 6'1" & runs...
Alontae Taylor was a consensus 4 Star WR/ATH that signed in 2018 that played 1 year under CJH (NFL Draft Rd 2)
Kamal Hadden was a 3 Star CB transfer from JUCO/Auburn that signed in 2021 that played 3 years under CJH (NFL Draft Rd 6)
Theo Jackson was a consensus 3 Star S/ATH that signed in 2017...
Tony is 2-13 against Ark since coming to TN. That has to improve ...
1-8 Regular Season @ Ark
1-2 Regular Season home
0-1 SEC Tournament @ Hoover
0-2 Super Regional @ Ark
Here's a little more info for you. If a ball bounces twice before an infielder touches it then it is probably not hit near the center of the baseball which is normally where tanks are born.
Don't know if you have ever played before, but centimeters are HUGE! Typically, we talk about millimeters when missing the center or just above/below. Just sayin'.
