I will give credit to LSU for scheduling a "name" opponent. The rest of the SEC, outside of Texas A&M, should be ashamed at the teams they played.

You're right. Class rankings really mean nothing. It's come down to rooting for the "jersey."

A&M doesn't like "sharing" with Texas. And, when you think about it, the BIG would love to have a footprint in Texas. Eyeballs are everything when it comes to television contracts.

I believe the SEC is stronger top to bottom team wise vs the BIG. but, the BIG has become stronger with the addition of Oregon, USC, Washington, and UCLA. The BIG has the edge when it comes to "eyeballs." Population wise, the BIG has an edge. And last years national championship was won by the BIG.

BUT, you did not list Oregon at #7, Washington at #11; and USC at #13. These are now member of the Big Ten.

And, they got their wish..

Their schedule vs Tennessee?? Are You kidding? Iowa's schedule was probably more difficult. Our mighty Vols played Austin Peay, UTSA, and UCONN. Of course we played Alabama and Georgia, but who else did UT play that would scare other teams? Answer is:NO One

Iowa is by far the worst offense in Div 1 football. The Vols win if they score 14 points or more...

Notre Dame will NEVER go to the Big 12 due to academics.
