Nice bounce back game! Great to see Kiki hit and Payton pitch another gem. Also a great day in that the 2nd (FL), 3rd (Ta&m), and 4th (ARK) place teams all lost. We are now 2 up in the loss column. Be nice to come home with a series win tomorrow.

Probably alone in the way we played but not alone in that FL, GA, and LSU also lost. Good teams have short memories though. Need to start paying a little attention to Arkansas and Ta&m, they are up there in the standings. We need to win each series to be champs. I think it could be a 3-4 team...

Really wanted to see Jami build on her solid year-end performance. But whatever “team stuff” caused her to miss several weeks looks like it has placed her firmly at the end of the bench. CONGRATS to Rylie West on winning UT’s highest honor in being named a Torchbearer! First time since 1957 and 1958 that a sport had back to back winners! (Last year Kiki). We have some amazing young women on this team!

Great way to open SEC play!!! Knocked a pretty good pitcher out of the game early. Very happy for Bella, maybe that will give her the confidence she needs at the plate. It was great seeing the girls so happy for her. What else can you say about Karlyn…..masterful.

Beat Howard 21-1 last year. They are 16-5 this year but have been run-ruled by their two best opponents: 10-2 by UCF and 15-1 by Providence. Wonder if this could be a Charli start or will it be Payton? Last tuneup before it’s go time.
