Cheating on his wife wasn't the issue for AD's. Hiring the mistress for a job she wasn't qualified for was the issue. You can't trust a guy with hiring responsibilities after he does that. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I don't care about his personal life. His unprofessional hiring practices, however, lead to big time lawsuits. I don't care how many women, or men for that matter, he needs for his sexual appetites. It's when he starts hiring his bed buddies who aren't qualified for the job I get nervous.

Not an NCAA problem with Petrino. He gave his unqualified mistress a high paying position in the Arky athletic department. That kind of behavior opens the institution up to all kinds of lawsuits. There's not a university president in the nation willing to take that chance.

Yes, the rule changed a couple of years ago to speed up the game. The clock starts at the ready for play signal on out of bounds plays except the final 2 minutes of a half.

The woo came in during the mid 90's. I was in the band in '96 and it was being done then. I'd say we were fairly successful with it. I watched the 1998 championship game not too long ago and the woo was in Tempe. If anything the woo helped take us to the next level.

Pat Summitt was one of the best coaches to ever step on the sideline in any sport, there is absolutely no denying that. Unfortunately, entirely due to a horrible disease, she is not that coach any longer. She should be allowed to step down with grace and dignity, but it is time for her to step...
