Even if it is predictable...we put up 28 points on them and left several points off the board because our kicker sucked when the game is on the line.
Our D just couldn't get off the field and get a stop. Plus the more stops the the D gets the more opportunity for offense to run up the score...
I agree, I could see the James Madison QB or UNLV QB just because they have one year left and then we have 2 stud QB's that has had time to learn the offense and put on some weight.
This is true however Ole Miss spent a lot in the transfer portal. I was thinking they were ranked #1 and #3 2 years in a row for the best transfer signing. With that said most of those are one and done players.
Hope we can have similar success this off season. We have did well in the past...
Welcome back...you have been quiet the last little bit. I look forward to getting your insight on most topics. You've been pretty spot on for a long time now. Hope you drop some tidbits over the off season.
Ive read Knowles likes to coach and is a good LB coach...it might be a situation where inge is there for recruitment/running player drills in practice and jim oversees, teaches and coaches them.
I knew that he was just an interim and knowles will take over, my point at the time was that inge might be let go from LB coach...i was just making an observation. However, i seen on another post that it was over the 12 men on the field call and the TV cut part of it out.
With all those mistakes he has made...he still managed to score more points and win more games than the last 3 coaches in the past 20 years. Just think if he gets this coaching thing figured out. Im not saying he has been the best coach but geez have at least some respect for what he has done...
I looked it up...they were down 6 defensive players after the double overtime loss to Oregon. That may have hendered their performance some. It definitely hurt his Defense stats.
Said he was 95th in the nation at penn state getting off the field on 3rd downs. Looks like he will fit in fine š....UCLA hung 42 on him with Nico.
Im not blown away with this hire. Hope he is not a has been with an over complicated D. Hopefully he will kill it here and we can actually be good...
Id say this is our front runner but will probably end up getting someone else. If Washington is smart they will try to retain him with a big pay raise. Not that we cant outbid....d say we will just move to the next up. Who that is im not sure. Alot of different options with different pros and cons
This is who id like to have. Going off top of my head, i think the most points scored on his D this season is 26 points. Walters would be a great hire!!!
Ole Miss had the #1 and #2 transfer classes in 2023 and 2024. I wouldn't say that kiffin is doing more with less. He has had some big time players the last few years and still didn't win SEC or NC.
Arky was a couple of fumbles away from being a 1 loss team. Look at the size of their offensive lineman, they are massive. Both running backs are over 6 ft 230lbs and their QB is 6'6 238 lbs. That's why they moved the ball with ease. They have scored big on everyone except ND
That one 28 pt...
