It's amazing to me how good Lady Vol fans really are and looking at the attendance for an exhibition game at better than 10,000 and WOW! UNC played Carson Newman before TN and had a couple hundred people there and looking at the pictures that was probably generous. Fan support is so important...

I do too! Mercedes is an important piece of keeping Tennessee at the top and she has the opportunity to be one of the recruits who made the difference.

I really hope she picks Tennessee for herself as well as the program because she will be a media magnet much like Candace Parker is and she will get twice as much or more with TENNESSEE vs what she would with Louisville. She deserves the attention she will receive here!

Her father has said he wants to correct this mistake he made with Tennessee so look for her to re-commit soon.

I don't mind the ranking as I think it will give the Lady Vols a little extra motivation.

According to the report on GoVolsXtra‎ it's obvious now that someone created false information to her family which caused this to happen. Her father stated it had nothing to do with UT and it was from someone on the outside.

I still believe and hope that Mercedes chooses the Lady Vols and when she does I think a couple others will follow suit and commit as well. I don't know anything about Davis now but with the coaches visiting it definitely looks good for TN.

Lady Vol fans show time after time they are the best fans in the country and this just adds another bragging right. GO LADY VOLS!!!

TN always has a loaded schedule and that is what fills TBA up with Lady Vol fans because nearly every game on the schedule is a tough opponent. Many coaches fill there schedule with easy wins to pad their record but fans do not want to see 30-40 pt blowouts every game because of playing inferior...

I've got a good feeling about it and I really don't think a recruit would base a decision off of message board chatter, or at least I hope not. Russell and Davis would be a great combo to get and with the #1 fans TN enjoys they would both love it. GO LADY VOLS!!!

This is a great community service UT does and it helps more than you think for these young athletes.
