I think we should limit it to 8 teams. No automatic bids for conference champs. Better seeding and have the championship play at the Rose Bowl.

We've played them for 34 straight years, since 1988. I suspect the SEC will keep it that way. I also think the SEC will try to avoid scheduling Texas and Alabama to play Georgia. Want to keep their records clean to make sure 4+ teams make the playoff.

Because we had several SEC teams with 3 losses like Bama, Ole Miss, SC. This year, any Big 10 and SEC team that was 10-2 got in. We could have several 11-1 teams next year or more 10-2 teams. Tennessee will need a big win next year, because I can easily see the committee putting another 10-2...

How do you feel about Nick Saban and the Bama athletic director going on ESPN and saying Bama will schedule easier games moving forward. Not once, but multiple times they said it on TV

Rivalries can make games closer. The Tennessee-Bama rivarly is probably the longest and most storied rivarly in the nation other than OSU-MI. Georgia-Georgia Tech had no right to go into 8OT but it did. There isn't a real rivarly between Tennessee and Georgia.

We were favored aganist SC in 2022 and AR in 2024. Not sure about the 2023 season.

Tennessee is the only team in the country that is expected to play both Alabama and Georgia every year. Makes it very hard to make the playoffs, especially since there is always a good chance we have to play one of them again in the SEC championship if we beat them both in the regular season...

Hendon Hooker was an excellent QB and the 2022 team generally did better at away games than 2024. Thoughts?
