We've reached that magical part of the game where, after this inevitable touchdown, I can turn this game off and forget Tennessee football exists for the remainder of the day.
Friends and I said the same last night. Were likely to spend thousands for CFP or high tier bowl. Now we’ll be watching from home. But who’s going to do the same for the Outback Bowl? It’s asinine to say I’m disappointed in a 9-2 but last night just hurt a little different than other years.
IMO it'll just further stretch defensive secondaries. You can't ignore Tillman, Hyatt, McCoy, or Keyton. DB's will have to lock in because every one of them can burn you if there's a mix up in coverage. Honestly if I'm a DB coach or even a DC for a team we face after UTM I'm probably losing...
FWIW I found myself at a Texas Roadhouse bartop in Little Rock in between four Alabama fans. Older gents and obviously not late-year bandwagon fans. Every one of them thinks they lose Saturday. Felt like I was in the Twilight Zone.
