I think we're making the same mistakes all over again. The big mistake in how Phil was fired is that the writing was on the wall for a while and the admin was so hesitant to make the tough decisions that needed to be made. Same with Doofus and now Butch. It's the indecisiveness that is hurting...
Ordinarily I might say yes but maybe the good football minds can clarify. Isn't Shoop's defense built around the idea of moving players all around the field. Like you might have four DE on the field on a play and then next five LB or something like that?
Am I the only one who remembers special Gatorade bottles a few years ago that his picture on it with "The Sheriff" all cartoony.
Edit: Here's an article on it and it seems Cam Newton had his own bottle.
Peyton Manning is "The Sheriff" in Gatorade/DC's "League of Captains"
There is a Grayson Linde punter ranked by Kohls Kicking as a five star. It's shows he has an offer to Army and preferred walk on offer to Tennessee. He is #21 in the country.

Watching him, it always feels like he can break any run open for a big TD run. He certainly represents UT well and deserves to be mentioned with the likes of Lewis, Foster, Graham, Henry etc etc.
My points were-
1. Has anyone heard of the guy?
2. He's a decent recruiter.
C. He is respected by his peers.
IV. Has anyone heard his name mentioned in any coaching search discussion?
I'll work on a power point presentation with some cool Word Art and various slide transitions in it if...
Has anyone heard GA Mangus' (S Carolina's QB coach) name thrown around? Not sure what the Chump is going to do with him, but he recruits my son's high school/area and seems to connect well with recruits. My son's coaching staff respects him and the times I've met him I've been impressed. I'm...

Son of Dr Jerry Punch, preferred walk on long snapper.
I have noticed there are only two Long Snappers listed on the roster. At the O&W game there were at least two others, one was Will Bradshaw who had originally walked on as a QB (also played LS in HS) and had gotten moved to LS (he didn't try to hide the fact it wasn't his idea). There was also...
Sounds like this guy has the right background, which is only a portion of whether he is the right man for the job. Having a former NFL head coach had a lot of people really excited once upon a time. Bottom line is do we trust Butch to make the right decisions and hire the right people to get UT...
Sorry I'm a little late to the party but I was also there at the camp with my son-he's a 2017 LS and this is his 3rd year in a row at the UT specialist camp. We also went to Bama's the next day and will be going to USCe on Sunday (among others). I was wondering what you thought about the camp...
I thought this same thing at the O&W game. Seeing him up close, he didn't look nearly as big as I thought he would. I get that muscle weighs more than fat but he looked more cuddly than monstrous.
