A friend sent me this link to a short interview with Ralph. Based on the volume of comments on coaching at UT, I thought this would be instructive. Perhaps some coaches do take themselves too seriously. on coaching

wow, Even I have higher expectations. Be assured Ralph will motivate her team, lets hope LV's play with attitude.

I'm no doomsdayer but. . . It is all relative. If your expectations are just to make the tournament, then yeah that's a good run. For this program, my hopes are we make the final four, every year. If the coach and players don't have this expectation then they are at the wrong place.

It was a tough loss that we should have won. In rethinking the whole game I don't think I'm comfy blaming the refs. Certain things are out of the players control. There are a couple of thing that are . . . what is good about <50% foul shooting? It's the one thing you can practice by yourself...

we lost to the #1 ranked team. I doubt we will drop more than one or 2 spots
