Ugh, this sounds like Holly, and I want to puke. Pound it in to the paint. To paraphrase, she said something like she didn’t care if TN made a 3 ever. Pound it in the paint BS is just instead replaced with drive into the paint. Looks a lot the same. Bunch of people standing around. So fix...
There really are some great articles out there. The WNBPA has hired a philanthropic economist. It may have been referenced here. Playing along with the old norms and BS tactics is just tired. Pay them and it will grow. Slaying some of these BS tropes Will help too. As avid fans of...
As a long time Sky season tix holder prior to moving to Texas, I have seen what Angel speaks of first hand, and she is absolutely correct. Her assertions about the players was more a point at the horrible and cheap-ass management of the Sky. They have been well documented as horribly managed...
Sparks Seattle game was amazing. For those that are interested in Tennessee players as they move into the pros, last night was as good a story as we could get in recent years.
Rickea absolutely owned Gabby Williams, the former UConn standout and almost usurper of team USA in the Olympics...

If there is a team that is highly ranked to beat w CKC system it is UCLA. I have believed for a decade that Coach Cori Close is about 20 years behind in basketball. Coaching is bad. She takes great players and makes them ok. Kiki Rice and Lauren Betts both have stalled in the mud.
is it possible Barker could be a star for the LVs? She has only played for horrible coaches. Joni Taylor and her offense-less system, which is only comparable to Cori Close and 6-on-6 1980-something style of play. With some freedom to makes plays and score maybe she could go first round...
Better watch what they do, cannot go backward at this point. Women’s basketball burst through the blockade the past couple years. Too much more like this and they will end up back in the 2001.
Makes the Kim Caldwell era that much more appealing.
Really kinda of sad tournament. Seemed like this was going to be a dynamic and fun tournament w all these dynamic players leading teams in USc, ND, the LVs and even to some extent NC state. But just boo. All these games in the 40s and 50s cuz of the rise of defense. Now they are allowing...
Kind of the perfect tournament for UConn. It was a throwback to the ops and early 2000s when it was UConn against old school ball. Starting with Arike and co, they couldn’t compete with dynamic guard driven teams. This tournament it seems all they played were old ass style teams. Cori Close...
Get the impression that a lot of people believe Kim is the strict with her system and not flexible for the demands. I admit I felt so too during the season. Overall, however, she did have to amend her approach a whole lot for this team. She also, got a lot out of her players that many would...
Hahahaha. Geno, wasn’t whining when he spent 15 years traveling 45 minutes to his regional sites. Wasn’t there a big to-do on a podcast that got some national traction that complained about how his teams got an unfair advantage? Following year the regionals moved away.
ESPN really has...
Also, I think Tess deserves a shout out. I’ve hollered a lot at my TV with her over 5 years, but she really was important to blowing the lid off the bucket to start. And I am happy for her to get the results she got today.
So nice to eliminate Ohio State. They embarrassed the LVs terribly be turning them more than they’ve ever been turned over before or some ish like that. Good to see the LVs got to their place, in the tournament, and turn them over and over and over, while swatting their press aside.
And, the...
