I was living in Nashville during the Mears days. I remember the Vandy fans were always complaining about Mears slow game. When he finally signed studs like Earnie and Bernie, they were wishing he would stop playing so fast paced.

The entire team looks/plays SOFT !

It’s amazing how many times we have played PAC 10 teams compared to the rest of the SEC. I attended many of those games, both home and away. It was always fun and interesting to see the difference in cultures.

It makes me glad that we had Joey Spirals. It’s a shame that we didn’t have a decent defense to help him.
