I believe people are not factoring in Nico's poor pocket presence and lack of mobility. I think that is critical in this (and pretty much any) offense. An immobile qb makes things a lot tougher for the OL. Merk may not be a whole lot better, but I'm guessing he'll be an improvement.

Do not disagree with that. I'm sure BB is not on par with ZZ or Gainey or Chaz. My point is that some coaches will tend to give the young guys some time when the situation allows it, but Barnes is not one of those coaches.

Very well said. The best 4 teams were in the final 4. We had a very good season. It does suck that we had one of those nightmare halves against Houston, but they were just a stronger team. Extremely proud of the way these guys battled all year.

I do believe they looked a little tight, but I'm not sure the pressure got to them. They've played in and won a lot of pressure packed games over the last four years. I think it was just one of those days that shots just weren't falling, and Houston is pretty darn good.

Duke is very good, but they are nowhere near unbeatable, in my view. They have probably the best freshman duo in the country, but I believe Florida, Auburn and Alabama are all deeper.

As a scorer, yes, he's been a bit of a disappointment. But he has contributed in other ways, mainly as our best rebounder.
