A couple years I took a friend from the west coast to Neyland (the cathedral of college football) to watch the Vols play. The game was a blast.
However, the school bus shuttle service from the surrounding hotels no longer available. Has this changed for this coming 2025 season?
That is very interesting. I will keep that in mind. The motels I talked said the service had stopped. I do Hope someone will step up. It’s a needed service. Thanks for sharing.
But the problem is the school bus service that you referenced is no longer available. That’s how are used to get to the games. It made it easy and convenient. That’s not the case yesterday.
Me and my friend are both 65 years old. It was quite a hike for us to get to the game after parking near I 40. Looks like I’ll just stay home and watch from home until this shuttle problem is corrected.
Found a place to park in the boonies. Walked a very long way, but did enjoy the game. I sure hope they get this shuttle business straightened out. Looks like a good business opportunity for someone. Seems like a lot of cash is being left on the table. A Service very much in demand on game day.

Is standing up the whole game still a thing? If so is it more common in certain areas such as the student section. I plan on bringing a friend to the opening game who had hip replacement surgery last year. He does well but will not want to stand that long. I don’t want to either. Thanks for any...
Attending tomorrows game with AP. Have not been to a TN game since the Butch years. Taking my daughter, son-in-law and grandson. This will be my grandson’s first game! He is 11 years old. I am happy to have three generations in attendance.
