Why must you D bags scat all over this thread by debating the values of womens athletics, especially basketball? Parker is exceptional in her sport, and represented your university with more grace than some of you clowns deserve. On top of that, she is doing a fine job in the next level...
I'm proud of Candace, and of the whole Tennessee program. All of the LV rookies are doing well, and representing the Orange with grace, class, and hard work. Kudos to Pat and her staff.
Reminds me of Lebron...he brings the ball up a lot too, when the Cavs offense is more effective when they are feeding the ball to him. Cooper is not a good coach. He just sat there last nigh like a bump on log, watching his team blow a 15 point lead.
It seems that Sparks coach Michael Cooper has Candace playing point guard, or point forward at times. I know Candace has a good handle, but it seems that this move decreases Candace's scoring chances.
Parker was outstanding. If she had hit all of her free throws, she would have been over 40 pts. She missed the triple double because her teammates blew a couple of easy opportunties. I hope she stays healthy and not hit the rookie wall. Candace has played a lot of bball in the last 13 months...
Staley will bring a winners attitude to that program. I'm impressed that the school was so aggressive in making a hire. We came super close to losing Holly Warlick for this gig.
